Has anyone ever had scabies? |
What was it like? What did it look like? Scabies are little mites that dig their way under the skin. They itch like crazy and cause little bumps. These bumps are usually pretty close together and start in one place and spread from there. Parasite do this at home (if no medications): Yes, I had a case of scabies once. I worked at an intermediate care facility and I got a case of them. They itch like CRAZY. The facility I worked at gave me an ointment to put on my body. I had to put it on myself from head to toe. I also had to wash every bit of clothes and bed linen that I had. Nasty stuff(but curable)! I finally got rid of it though. There were some of the staff at the facility that I worked at that took one pill and that took care of it. The specialist you go see should be able to give you the best course of action to take. I found a website that should give you all the info you need on it just in case you don't want to wait until tomorrow. Good luck! |
