What are the symptoms of sarcoma?

I heard about this cancer due to sinusitis that lead to cancer and its sarcoma. I just wanted to know the symptoms coz I know someone who has sinusitis and sometimes he's nose bleeds in the morning.

Although each individual experiences symptoms differently, sarcomas do have some common characteristics. Symptoms often don鈥檛 show up until the disease is advanced, so you should see your doctor if you notice any of the following symptoms:

-A new lump or bump anywhere on your body
-Increasing abdominal pain
-Blood in your stool or vomit (when blood appears in your stool, it may not look red but very dark, almost black)
-Pain in the bone
-Weight loss
-Fatigue
-Anemia

I am not sure which sarcoma you are referring to. So I have just listed down the common symptoms found.

However, I am also additionally listing out the symptoms of Ewing's sarcoma in case it helps you.

Other symptoms of this type of cancer include tiredness, fever, weight loss and anemia.

Being diagnosed with cancer, such as Ewing's sarcoma, can be a very sobering and frightening experience. But there is hope!

Patients with Kaposi's sarcoma develop purplish or red-brown raised spots on the skin. In classic Kaposi's sarcoma , the spots usually occur on the legs. In AIDS-related cases, they are usually found in the mouth, on the face and on the chest. Swelling around the raised spots may also be evident. Other symptoms include difficulty eating and coughing up blood.

Ewing's sarcoma is a cancer. The cancer can start in bone or in soft tissues. The most common sites for Ewing's sarcoma are the pelvis, the thigh, and the trunk of the body. The peak ages are between 10 and 20, but younger children and older adults can also get Ewing's sarcoma. We do not know exactly what kind of cell gives rise to Ewing's sarcoma. It has some features that resemble the early cells that would normally develop into part of the nervous system. We do not know what causes Ewing's sarcoma. The most common early signs of Ewing's sarcoma are pain and swelling. Like other sarcomas, Ewing's sarcoma can spread to other parts of the body. Even when the tumour is detected at a very small size, there may be evidence of microscopic spread. For this reason, Ewing's sarcoma always requires treatment to the whole body. This treatment includes chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is intended to destroy the tumour cells which have spread to the rest of the body and to shrink the main mass of tumour cells. Successful treatment also requires another form of treatment to the main mass of tumour. This can be surgery, radiation therapy, or a combination of the two.
