What is the best known treatment for a desmoid sarcoma? |
My daughter has a desmoid sarcoma in her calf -ankle it has been excised radiated and she has taken anti estrogen treatments. Now she is undergoing chemo therapy as this has returned several times. Drs believe it could sattelite if her leg was amputated. Thanks for your input Desmoid tumors are not strictly sarcoma's because they do not generally metastastize. However, because they tend to reoccur and can be stubborn they probably should be treated by a sarcoma specialist. |
