Have you or anyone you know had ewings sarcoma?

where did you have it and how old were you. My grandson had ewings sarcoma in his spine, he was diagnosed when he was 9 yrs old.

yes, the tibia bone, tumour grew at at an alarming rate.
refused amputation, had chemo and radiotherapy but eventually had leg amputated as got radiation burns that would not heal and constant pressure from family.

several of the children who were having chemotherapy at the same time as my son had Ewing's.One little girl had it on her spine just like your grandson. We occasionally meet up at clinic when we take Adam for check ups.

I haven't seen her for a while as after 7 years the appointments are getting further apart and we don't run into them as much.
She was doing well last time I saw her apart from the fact she tip toe walked a bit as a result of her surgery.

Having a child who has had cancer, in the family, is very hard on everyone.
We are lucky because we are seven years down the line.
My boy had Non Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Please feel free to email me if you would like to chat.
