My mother had this kind of cancer and they told her she would only live 8 months. She lived for two years. Your friend she try and get into trial chemo therapy. Determination and chemo trials are what kept my mother alive for so long. She had a life too, until the last month I would say she was alive and living. Then that last month they kept her totally comfortable and had no pain. Her survival rate depends on her immune system. Read the info Depends on the type of sarcoma.
