What is the most effective treatment for synovial sarcoma? (it's a rare type of cancer)?

The tumor needs to be removed first with clear margins, then depending on whether it has spread, or has a potential to metastasize, radiation and in some cases chemotherapy are required. Heres a site with some information:

http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/facts...

I had that cancer on my cervix 3 years ago. I had to have aggressive chemotherapy once a week and radiation 5 days a week. I also had internal radiation. I never had to have surgery. But every case is different make sure to write down everything your doctor says and to ask alot of questions.
