Anyone out there who knows someone that has or had a sarcoma tumor that also went into lung cancer?

Yes. It's called metastatic cancer when a primary tumor breaks into tiny cancer cells goes through the blood stream and lodges into the lung or other organ. The lung cancer becomes a secondary cancer.

My son has stage IV abdominal sarcoma and he had mets travel to the lung. We were able to control the mets with high dose chemotherapy.

What type of sarcoma are you dealing with? There are quite a few and the specific name of the disease would help.
