Now that it has been confirmed that 911 workers Contracted Sarcoidosis, will this help Sarcoid Awareness? |
Sarcoidosis affects multi systems in the body, with lung envolvement diagnosed more often. 26 911 responders have been diagnosed, yet sufferers on a day to day basis, some for years, or die while waiting for a cure. Maybe Sarcoidosis will be thought of more than an allergy in the lungs, now that publicity of 911 workers contracting it. I have never heard of this. What is it and how did you hear about it? In the United States? I am an EMS worker, and am really curious! |
