What causes sarcoidosis?

What causes sarcoidosis?

It's not known specifically, but there it's thought to be an immune system disorder, possibly caused by a virus or toxins in the environment. It's more common in African Americans and scandinavians, rare in Asians, more common in women than in men, and genetic factors only in whites (5% of family members of person with the disease).

Unfortunately, the causes of sarcoidosis are not known.

Scientists THINK that sarcoidosis develops when your immune system responds to something in the environment (e.g., bacteria, viruses, dust, chemicals) or perhaps to your own body tissue (autoimmunity).

Normally, your immune system defends your body against things that it sees as foreign and harmful. It does this by sending special cells to the organs that are being affected by these things. These cells release chemicals that produce inflammation around the foreign substance or substances to isolate and destroy them.

In sarcoidosis, this inflammation remains and leads to the development of granulomas or lumps.

Scientists have not yet identified the specific substance or substances that trigger the immune system response in the first place. They also think that sarcoidosis develops only if you have inherited a certain combination of genes.

Please see the webpages for more details on Sarcoidosis.
The cause of the disease is unknown. Possible causes of sarcoidosis include:(1) Hypersensitivity to environmental factors (2) Genetics (3) Extreme immune response to infection.

Anything that is unnatural is going to cause problems and the worst thing that we do that is unnatural is to eat unnatural food. No surprise that doctors don't know what is causing most of our dis-eases because doctors do NOT even study food and nutritionist don't study the truth about food. Cooking our food is unnatural and is the root cause to most of our illnesses and ill-behaviors. Adopt a live food diet and watch most of your problems disappear.

Here is a five minute documentary about a group of people with diabetes that changed their diet for 30 days and are NO longer diabetic. They're also making a longer documentary with Woody Harrelson, which should be out very soon. The good news is that this type of diet prevents and reverses almost every disease or so-called dis-ease, including sarcoidosis. So watch this video and tell everyone you know about it, so we can put an end to all of this needless suffering!!!
