Salt Consumption?

I have noticed that I eat a lot of salt with food. Although I work out a lot (both lifting and cardio) I was wondering does working out helps against higher salt consumption. And how can salt influence my health in the long run?

If you eat too much sodium at one time it will make you very dehydrated. In addition to drinking lots of water, eat something with potassium like a banana or sweet potato. Potassium is sodium's chemical counterpoint and will help to absorb some of the excess sodium out of the bloodstream.

It can also make you bloated since your body will try to retain more water to prevent it from getting too dehydrated. You'll be bloated until it is more or less out of your system.

you can get high blood pressure

working out has no effect on your salt consumption 'problem', higher salt consumption can lead to high blood pressure and a lack of water in your body, just try to cut back on the salt

Are you drinking lots of water? If you're working out and sweating a lot, be sure to also drink a lot of water. I've known actors on stage who take salt pills because they sweat a lot under the hot lights. Just be sure to keep yourself hydrated. I don't think the salt will be a problem unless you get dehydrated.

Eating a diet that is high in salt or sodium can cause high blood pressure and edima (swelling in the extremities) There is no workout that will counteract the salt intake.

salt is an intestinal fattening reagent.it increases the amount of triductylcarconinogin in blood and instantly raises blood pressure, which may result in a constipation and aids. so take care dude, you need it. live happy and avoid death at the hands of salt. call me at 090078601

Salt can be a good thing in moderation. Salt is an essential electrolyte for your body. As you work out more and more you will sweat more, then water and salt is lost from the body and dehydration forms. Too high of a salt intake can lead to high blood pressure.
