Salt when working out, or working hard. Good or Bad? |
So often I find myself in situations where I am working hard or outside in the heat and I know I need to drink lots of water(obviously). But there has been much debate on weather or not you should eat something with salt on it, like pretzels. Some people say you should because you need salt to sweat, and others reply that salt soaks up water therefore making it harder for your body to benefit from the water. What's the deal? There is a condition were people are working out hard Too much salt is never good. You really need to over exert yourself to have an electrolyte (Salt) problem, which would cause heart problems. |
