bismuth salts is a generic name for treat constipation . plz give me any brand name of "bismuth salt"

i said it the first time on your last post it is pepto bismol, its for diarrhea

Epson salt ... i think ... i know that it is for constipation

Pepto Bismol

I think you may have it backwards... Pepto Bismol, which is bismuth salts, treats DIARRHEA not constipation! If you take this when you are constipated it will make it worse. You should look for ducosate sodium tablets (available at any drugstore in generic form) or a laxative like Senokot or Carter's. You can also relieve constipation by taking alfalfa tablets and drinking a lot of water.

Bismuth salt is not a product alone--there's products that contain it.

Epsom salt, as mentioned above, is magnesium sulfate, not bismuth.

bismuth is the pink stuff....won't help you go, try some milk of magnesia

FYI,...

Bismuth is a heavy metal, (see Periodic Table of Elements -Bi); originally discovered in 1753 by a French scientist named Claude Geoffroy. Also known as Bismuto, Native Bismuth & Wismut.

03/06 Ascan Pharmaceutical / FDA approval for Biskalcitrate - an anti-biotic containing tetracycline, potassium & metronidazole. For use in treating Heliocobater pylori. The pylorus is the passage at the lower end of the stomach leading to the duodenum. Gastro-intestinal disorder may be indicated, (common accompaniment constipation, obstruction, stultification). Side-effects interestingly include diarrhea & nausea.

Well known brand is Pepto-Bismol. Hope this helps.
