Is plain old salt bad for your skin? Like if you eat salty food, does it eat away at the skin in your mouth? |
I have eaten a LOT of extra super salty popcorn lately, but now the inside of my mouth is sore , numb, and feels weird. I think it's from all that salt. Too much of anything can cause irritation. Leaving the salt alone for several days will allow your mouth to heal. Your cheeks and gums are not going to peel and I have never heard of salt poisoning. yes salt can make your mouth sore and food that are rough like popcorn, chips ect ect |
