Can the salt that is used in a water softener cause skin irration? |
I know a water softener is soposed to help make the water nice and soft etc but can it also dry out skin...it is salt so I would think it could make skin itch and hair dry out. Are the salt chemicals(pellets) bad for you especially if the salt also has the rust remover in it?.... I have never heard of a water softener causing skin irritation. I also never heard of a patient with skin issues related to a water softener when I worked in a dermatology office or in the E.R. |
