What is sars?

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, which is caused by the coronavirus. Symptoms of SARS include a high fever (over 100.4) and flu-like symptoms (body aches, headache, and mild respiratory symptoms.) After 2-7 days people affected with SARS may have a dry cough, but usually they develop pneumonia. Although not a typical symptom, diarrhea may present from the onset.
SARS is transmitted through person-to-person contact.

It's a Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. Caused by a virus and potentially lethal. NOT a joke, or "wag the dog" situation (e.g. a ruse of imaginary evil governments to keep people in fear and submission...)
