Why do I always get sick aftering flying and what can I do about this?

I fly very frequently and I always return home, then a couple days later, I get a nasty head cold. I am wondering if this is due to the recycled air they use in planes (if one person sneezes, we all breathe it in) and if so, would wearing one of those "sars" masks help me to not get sick? Short of traveling in a bubble, I'd love to know why I constantly get sick after flying and if there are any preventative measures I can take against it. Thanks!

Air in plane cabins is very dry & recycled. The pressurization call also affect your sinuses. Best bet is to keep yourself hydrated during flights & take Vitamin C with Vitamin E (insures absorbtion) to boost your immunity.

I had the exact same problem on my flight to florida. Theres actually some medicine to prevent a sickness called AIRBOURNE, it helps your immune system fight against coughs and germs in public places.

Airplanes and Airports both see a lot of traffic, and people drop germs everywhere. I recommend drinking a lot of water, wash your hands frequently, and try not to touch your face, nose, or eyes. Some people recommend spreading triple antibiotic ointment right inside their nostrils, it's supposed to catch the germs you breath in or something. Oh, and Airborne is just a multi vitamin, don't pay extra for that, just take the ones you have at home.
