Sad....down.....gloomy!? |
I moved with my family to East Texas July of 2006 from Nebraska. this time each year, i see that Nebraska is getting snow. i get sad, because i remember the fun times going ice skating on the lake i lived on with ALL my friends. having snow fights and all sorts of fun things. im just sad because here, you can wear short sleeves, capris, and flip flops. i HATE that. what can help me not feel so gloomy? i want cold! last year for new years i flew to Nebraska and saw all my friends, when i saw them, i cried with happiness! and thats NO joke, we all started crying!! please help me, what can i do? i call them and they say fun things they are doing, but it just makes me even more sad, we email, and myspace, and facebook. but its just not the same. this year i cant go see them, and they cant come see me. this may sound dumb and childish, but these are my feelings. all my friends had great friendships. we would cry and laugh together. i still dont have any friends here. i only work @ a vet clinic, and LUV my job. im still saving money to go to college. so yeah, this makes it worse because i have no friends here. is this dumb of me to be SO freakin' sad? im 19 years old. this is my first time in life never having friends. am i crazy? if you have something rude to say, just say it to yourself, dont be rude please. Nothng is worth the loss of your happiness. Move back if that would make you happy again. You gotta ask yourself if staying in East Texas will ever be as good as living in Nebraska. If I were you I'd be looking for vet jobs in Nebraska, or other similar opportunities. Remember, this is your reality, don't be a passenger in your own life, be the driver. With out our happiness we have nothing. Report It thanx! Report It awww!!!!!!!!!! save up some money and move back there when you are able too. try to get involved with some new activities. i am from a beach city so im the opposite of you but when we go to colorado for a week i just get involved , go skiing, sledding, hot springs, different types of weather bring different activities. I am in the same (but opposite) position. I moved to PA from TX. Absence makes the heart fonder. Think of it this way: you have the opportunity to make even more friends then you had before. You would not have experienced that if you had stayed in Nebraska. perhaps this link will help hey my dad's from omaha, nebraska..then he moved to south dakota...and now he lives in new jersey |
