Sad/empty/depressed? |
why do i always find winter so hard, it makes me feel so sad, so low, i walked out of my job last week, my girlfriend does not understand and we have fallen out tonight, i moved here to be with her and dont know anyone else, am sat here in my rented bedsit crying and feel like i have nothing, i feel like ending it hi there, Well dont end it...please just take one day at a time. What i would do if i was you was try and go to sleep then tomorrow make yourself a doctors appointment and have a chat with them and they will be able to sort someting out for you. Its hard when you feel so down, i know i feel like that alot of the time. But going to the doctors do help. It helped me alot. Now im on tablets and they seem to be doing the trick. All the best, and nothing is worth taking your own life. x x x x xIt not the end of the world everything can be sorted . good luck Do yoga of shri ramdevji or Art of living of shri Ravishankar there are alot of people that find the winter months hard, they do then to put a damper on your mood. you need to speak to her about how you are feeling, you deserve for her to listen. no need to end things just yet, winter will be over in no time. meanwhile, do some things that keep you happy. watch the footie, go for a drink... Sounds like SAD, seasonal affective disorder. Usually SAD people feel worse in the winter when the days are shorter and better when the days begin to have more daylight. There are special light boxes you can get that will help the situation. Even putting up broad spectrum aquarium lights can help. Turn on lots of light in the house, more than you need. Try to get outside for at least 20 minutes of exercise every day. It has to be outside. Around mid day is best. Do it even in cold, snowy or wet weather. Wow. I have to say that I am pretty much right there with you. I have had a rough couple of months with my business and I feel I have no way out or support. I've pretty much been a man on an island. You gotta take one day at a time and do the best you can. Maybe find some one outside the box to talk too. Take one day at a time with a hobby or trying something new. Try traveling. I have thought about ending it as well, but I then think what would happen then. Do you really escape? Try to control what you can and leave the rest to chance. With surrounding yourself with good karma and positive energy, you should be fine. There are good days and bad days. Take it slow and look for the companionship of your girlfriend. Just remember either way you are not alone. go and see your doctor please you maybe in a depression so don't wait please.cause i am my self in a depression.you need help please the longer you wait the worst it will come i know about it by experiences.and to be depress is not very good for your moral or other.you may had a bad day.but don't forget tomorrow could be the best of your life.put your energies some where else i no what your going true because i have pass there to,get help please. Winter can be depressing its so cold and you dont feel like venturing out, ask your girlfriend to go for a walk in the park have fun kicking the fallen leaves like when you were kids if the atmosphere isnt so tense you will find it easier to talk to her about how you feel, explain its not easy moving to a new area, may be she can introduce you to some new people and make new friends. As for the job you can always approach your boss and ask to beinstated, in the meantime look around for other work at least you will still have an income. Tears help and let out frustration and you may feel better after but you really need to get out and about be among people, their are people around you that genuiely care. Hi there : ) Hi there, I too suffer from depression and am finding it very difficult this winter, but you must remember you are not alone, people are there for you, to listen to you, wipe your eyes and reach out for someone. Try writing your girlfriend a letter explaining how you are feeling, sometimes its easier to write things down than saying them. Winter and gloomy miserable days affect a lot of people but maybe you'd be best going to see a doctor. Depression is a hard battle to fight alone whether you only suffer from it certain times of the year or not. You need to make some friends and get out of that bedsit, maybe check out some courses at yr local college or night school. Get right back out there too job wise and find other employment, the longer you leave it the more yr confidence will drop making yr mood even lower. I know its hard when u feel like crap but i've been there and i know the only person that can help you is yourself!! Seek help on yr low moods and no matter how down you feel get yrself out there and get another job. Yr girlfriend needs to understand how yr feeling so you need to be honest with her and ask her to help you. Don't ever give up or give into these low feelings fight them by pushing yrself a little each day, starting with checking out local jobs and courses. Good luck Hi please don't end It your a Very special person Winters very tough go and buy some sad light bulbs write to her tell how u feel she will understand try an d meet people have fun email me if u need Help I'm married to someone with severe depression |
