Is a bludged disk in the L4/L5 spine the same as a ruptured disk ? |
Is a bludged disk in the L4/L5 spine the same as a ruptured disk ? No. If it's bulging, it's squished enough that a nerve is pinched. (kinda like a water balloon that doesn't break when stood upon) Not yet.. a bulge is on the way to a rupture, if something isn't done.. No if was ruptured you would be going for surgery.My L5 ruptured about 10 years ago and I'm happy to say the back is still feeling great. You need to be seeing a Dr. It is not there but It can become ruptured . I have had three back surgery's in the last years . Take care of yourself you only get one back . |
