Would you flip the switch?

A runaway trolley car is hurtling down a track. In its path are five people who will definitely be killed unless you, a bystander, flip a switch which will divert it on to another track, where it will kill one person. Should you flip the switch?

it depends..........if the 'one' person is a family member, and the five others are strangers...i would Not flip the switch.........but if they were All strangers I WOULD flip the switch
Also it depends on the circumstances of the people.......if the 'one' person was a mother of young children and the other five were business people-with no children- I would NOT flip the switch
