Has anyone got any type of mental health problem that they ve had for a while and you live alone & get very?

lonely? i do you deal with it? if you have bpd times can get very lonely, insecure and empty..
im 30, have had an exceptionaally traumatic life, never made a friend or never been in a relashionship, because of my problems....ive lived alone in a one bedroom apartment for two years on welfare..it gets very depressing.....plus im hoping therapy will help me when it arrives.....its my only hope.....im getting older running out of oppurtunities, im prematurley aging, balding to...losing my youth im scared ill live like this for the rest of my life & wont no how to get out of it.....the feelings of abandonment are strong...plus i feel certain people are negative towards me & try to undermine me...' telling me i cant do that, or cant runaway from things ''..my ultimate goal is to emigrate from the uk,build a new life, but with everything i have to deal with,im at aloss of how im going to achieve this...

does anybody else live alone & have to endure great hardship like this? howd you cope?

Don't despair.

Often people come out of that, and go on to living the life that will make them fulfilled.

Your traumatic experiences can become a great source of wisdom and a great advantage when you are healed of the pain of them, for then the memory of them will remain, but in being integrated into a higher synthesis, will be free of pain and trauma, and give you a maturity and wisdom that you would not have had had you not experienced them.

.

well i dont live alone but i'm home alone sometimes..but i feel lonely alot...i dont have any "real" friends.....

We all have tough times and most of us get over it. However those that cannot cope with what life has to offer should get help from a medical professional. Not to be confused with the many quacks out there trying to pass themselves off as real doctors praying on those who would believe in anything that comes along.

I've gone thru many of things you going thru.. I'm getting well by getting help/med's and by reading the bible... God has given me hope to live and strength to continue life...

You will have to get away from the medication and the doctors to become a pioneer. You need your brain to function to get things done away from home. Welfare lock up is a cheap way to deal with mental illness. You are on your own sink or swim. Essentially you haven't become friends with other loners . Don't look to the winners to help you.

ah yeah, I got some pretty bad issues too, yet I am mostly happy if I am alone and do not have to deal with all the stress people bring into my life... I like living a low key life, I am not alone though, and have parental responsibilities. That is what keeps me going. My kid.

I was diagnosed bipolar, ptsd, and an insomniac. To me its just a label. I dont let it rule me. Everyone is lonely once in a while. Im sure you've made a friend somewhere along the way at times we tend to overlook possibilities when we are so down. I dont live alone but sometimes I feel like I do...does that makes sense? Being happy with yourself and doing things that make you happy are what is important over all. Everyone will always have an opinion but you are the leader. You are not alone. Make a decision today and stick with it. something as little as saying "hello" to someone your passing or as big as the move that you had in mind. However keep in mind again that when moving you always take baggage. just think about the broad of it and what would and does make you happy inside. No one is ever alone. It may seem big but you will overcome it if you can look to yourself.

Hi,
OK i have had some what the same as you..
I am in my 30's too and i have been on welfare for over 10 years now.
I am in state housing, on my own.

I find that the biggest thing with being on your own is that you must like yourself after that then you are right. I like how i am i don't have to do anything i don't wont to and that is great for now.
I also have MPD, PTSD, and a few more fun ones too but they don't stop me from doing what i wont to do and where i wont to go for the most part anyway and when they do I can except my limitations too and that is something that i found to be hard to do at fist but it is doerbil and you will get there

Living alone can be very lonely for anyone but when you have any type of mental disorder, as many of us do, it can be much harder......You are of an age where you should be able to get out and be a little bit active, find something you like to do and go do it, even if only for 1 or 2 hours a day for 2 or 3 days a week----get out and go to the library, or find some type of "job" that you can volunteer at...It may be hard at first but if its something that you enjoy doing it will get easier as you make yourself do it and don't give up after only the first day.

Yeah, I have a lot of issues. I've got three mental illnesses. I don't live alone, but my family isn't alway very nice to me so I always go rollerblading away from my problems. I'm afraid of people (probably another disorder) but I'm also afraid of being alone.
