Should you flip the switch?

A runaway trolley car is hurtling down a track. In its path are five people who will definitely be killed unless you, a bystander, flip a switch which will divert it on to another track, where it will kill one person. Should you flip the switch?

It would be more interesting if one of the five was a serial paedophile, or the lone person was a nobel laureate or something.

Who are you to intervene in fate.

mmh, sound like V for Vendetta sorta uh, with much less ppl. If it were to make a statement then yes. Otherwise, my luck the switch would break off, or something would happen to a fuse, go figure.
