Is this common if the doctor can't recognize the sypmtom of an antibiotic allergy with rubella??? |
my daughter had been sick for few weeks:cold, runny nose,cough...I took her to see family doctor but she didn't feel better then I saw another GP and he gave my daughter some medicine:Redipred and an antibiotic :AUGMENTIN DUO,after 7 days of taking an antibiotic,my daughter still but better than last few weeks, day 8 she had diarrhoea and rashes all over her face and her body,I took her back to the GP which gave her an antibiotic and ask him what was wrong with her and he said:SHE HAD RUBELLA,and even said to me,it might look scary but not dangerous, next day my daughter seemed very sick and more rashes,I took her to hospital and fount out that she was allergy with an antibiotic A doctor should be able to tell the difference. If they cannot, they should not be practicing medicine. Sue his sorry butt. He is a doctor and must be looked into because he could make this mistake again if he has already made it once. |
