Help! I am 5 months pregnant & infected with Rubella(IgG-400 IU/ml) & Cytomegalo (21.0 aU/ml).pLs advice ?? |
I am married in blood reletion (I am married with my patternal Anty's son). My first doughter is also affected with heart & Eyes problem by birth. What priventive mesures can be taken since MTP (abortion) can not be possible due to delay in detection of the virus i.e.Rubella(IgG-400 IU/ml) & Cytomegalo (21.0 aU/ml). My brother is also deaf by birth. Is there any treatment is available to treat these complications ?? What is the % of affect on fetus. Sonography reports are normal. If . I am going for 3rd pregancy what priventive mesures shoud be taken by me for the normal baby. pls advice me time is running out ?????????? A positive rubella IgG DOES NOT mean you currently have the rubella virus. It usually means that you either had it some time in the past or have been vaccinated against it. If so, your baby is not at risk from this. Most pregnant women have rubella IgG antibodies. It is more of a worry when they DON'T have them. You married your cousin???? be careflly god blas u Having married your cousin may explain why your daughter has birth defects. You absolutely have no business asking this question here. Rely on the advice and medical care of your Obstetrician. If you're planning on having more children, you could use genetic counseling as well. As the poster above me said, yes, you should seek genetic counciling when you decide to have future children because you may have genetic diseases in the family. Even if you have married in your relation now don't think about that because that is the past. I will strongly recommend you t be in touch with your Family Doctor who will further guide you about to get treated properly. Be regular for treatment and followups and have faith in God everything will be alright |
