Tonsillitis.Please Help!?

I have had tonsillitis for the past 4 or 5 years, and it won't go

away. I've been to a doctor twice, and they both told me to

take antibiotics. The first time I did, and it didn't work, so the

next time, my mom told me not to take it.(she doesn't believe

in antibiotics). My mom gave me some Pau D'Arco?? but it

only stops the strep throat, so my tonsils are still huge. I can't

get them taken out, because we don't have insurance, and idk

if my mom is getting it or not. I also got this rash yesterday.

Somebody said it was roseola, but that occurs in children 6

months and 3 years(I'm 14). I think it's scarlet fever.

What should i do about it?

Gargle warm salt water. it will help with the swelling for now, but antibiotics are the best answer. If the last ones didn't work, ask your dr for stronger ones. But When I was younger (before having mine removed) My dr. suggested salt water and it worked. I felt better, but I was doing it 3 times a day when it was bad.
