If you have rosacea and you get darker will it still be there? and can you tell me what kind of rosacea i have

i have rosacea i think? i've always had it since i was in grade 4 it just gradually got redder. i don't have pimples or a big nose or anything like that just red cheeks. Can anyone tell me what kind of rosacea i have? And i heard that you can get a prescription thats like sunscreen tinted that won't affect your rosacea at the pharmacy. Should i go see my dermatologist to make sure i have it?

You must see a physician (or a dermatologist) for advice. Many skin-care products exacerbate rosacea. There are over-the-counter products to decrease the redness (Eucerin products are good) but they only temporarily decrease it. You need a prescription topical medication. And, good news, ladies don't get the "big nose" symptoms. You will, however, begin having acne-like symptoms if you do not treat your rosacea.

I have rosacea. I was just recently diagnosed by a dermatologist. No one on line can tell you what you have, you need to go to your dermatologist. If you like the sun be sure and tell the doc that because you may be given meds that make you more sensitive to it. Be forewarned that the first thing they are going to tell you is stay out of the sun. I have a gel that I put on nightly and the rosacea has almost disappeared. It's a prescription med called Metrogel. Clear, odorless, does not dry the skin. Good luck!

YES YOU SHOULD....THAT WOULD BE BEST! ATLEAST YOU DONT GET THE BIG NOSE OR PIMPLES!! THATS LUCKY!
