Covering Rosacea For Tonight?

I recently found out the skin problem I have is Rosacea. I just thought my skin was sensitive all these years. I made an appt with a specialist, but the isn't until Feb. My OBGYN who suggested I had Rosacea told me to stay away from some triggers, alcohol being one of them. Well after she told me alcohol made it worst, I put two and two together. After I drink liquor my checks get really red. My solution was to stop drinking in well lit places. I even thought that maybe I was allergic to liquor..please don't laugh at me :-(

In addition, my chest gets red for no reason. I have had that problem for years. It's really embarrassing when friends ask why your chest is red. I never had an answer until now. I want to go out tonight, but I am having a flair up. My cheeks and chest are red. Does anyone know an at home regimen I can use today? Thanks

Yes, use apple cider vinger and salt. Wash in salt and then use the acv, and the redness will tame down. After a few treatments, should go away.

There are three stages to rosacea.
1. Pre-rosacea. You flush easily, but it does go away. Your vessels dilate, but go back to normal.
2. Vascular rosacea. You flush easily, and the flush remains longer. Your vessels are beginning to remain dilated longer and damage is occurring to them.
3. Inflammatory rosacea. Inflamed, dilated vessels and acne-like breakouts. Spider veins on your face.

You will progress from pre-rosacea to inflammatory rosacea if you do not avoid your particular triggers.

To cover rosacea, choose a green-tinted concealer. Green concealers will cover the red of rosacea on your face. The redness on your chest is not as easily concealed.

I have rosacea. I use Noritate cream for it. I also avoid my particular triggers as much as possible.
