What exactly does Rohypnol do? |
What does it let you remember? Like, would you remember the person giving it to you? Does it make you black out? How long does it last? It depends. When my mother-in-law lived in South America, the doctors down there gave it to her for vertigo. (It's legal in countries other than the US.) She didn't lose any memory; she said it was mroe like taking a Valium and Dad says it made her VERY docile, and if you picked her hand up, she'd just leave it in the air until you told her to put it down. The amnesia part of it usually comes from it being mixed in alcohol. If you take it by itself, you may or may not have amnesia from it, and the effect is like that of a sedative/hypnotic-type medication. With alcohol, it can cause complete amnesia, vomitting, coma, and even death. It lasts about 8 hours. Most people who are given Rohypnol don't know it has been given to them because it is slipped into a drink. It often leaves you without any memory at all, you wake up with a terrible hangover. It is often slipped into a drink while the girl isn't looking. It is called the "Date Rape" and it renders those who take it helpless. Never leave your drink unattended and be careful and keep a watchful eye when out. |
