My friend got stomach probs from a tick, but it isn't spotted - to the ER with him? |
he's lethargic, has diarrhoea, and feels pretty much like crap. the tick was NOT a rocky-mountain spotted fever tick, so why did he have such a reaction? and is this no big deal, or should he get a frikkin medivac'ed to the CDC stat? there are several diseases ticks can cause- get him to doctor and let them figure what he has been exposed to. Rocky Mountian Fever is an illness not a tick type and you can catch it from several species of ticks. may be ehrlichiosis Your doctor or local hospital through emergency can help and answer your quesions |
