Help! Need Answers, Quick!?

yesterday i was watering all of my yard and i feel like a needle went through my armpit. i flick off something that looks like a grass tick, but you don't feel ticks. could it be a spider? after i went inside, there was a red circle, (no bullseye) with ONE itty bitty "fang" mark. i put cortizone on it ASAP. i was out again yesterday and found 3-4 others that look EXACTLY like it in the grass. Now i feel like crap, (sneezing, aches, extremly small fever of like, 98.9). i have just recovered from rocky mountain spotted fever.

spider, tick??? what is it!!!??
