Ringworm ....?

help... ithink i have ringworm...how do i get rid of it...and how did i get?.....

Ringworm is a fungus in the same family of athlete's foot. You can go to a doctor, however, they'll recommend that you use an over the counter topical athlete's foot treatment. It should take a week or two to go away. I got mine from a cat at a shelter.

Be sure to change your towel daily otherwise you can spread it. Use hot water to clean your sheets and towels.

go get anti fungal cream from walmart it is with the athletes foot cream it is just a fungus you can get from anywhere!

dogs and cats get it from dirt. and we can get it from them its tinea.

get anti fungal cream for athletes foot! its take a lilttle while, like a week or 2, for it to go away but, it works :)

Yes it is a fungus but I would get a prescription from a doctor. Anti-fungals like tanactin aren't made for that I dont think.
You have to get it from another person or animal if you have pets they will likely have to be treated also.

put some anti fungal medication it'll come off in about 2 or 3 days but you probably got it by using something that somebody else had used that is dirty like going to the barber shop or using the same stuff that they used.

Ringworm is caused by unsanitary conditions. It depends where on your body you have it to determine how you got it.

If you have it on your hands, it is from not washing them enough. Handling money, shaking hands etc is one way it is transferred.
If you have it on your face it could be you got it on your hands and touched your face.

Try an anti fungal cream applied to the area after you have washed it thoroughly, a t least 4 times a day and again before bed.

You can find creams like Cruex or other such creams in the athletes foot/jock itch section of the supermarket/pharmacy.
If you are not sure it is really ringworm, have it checked out. It could also be staph, which you do not want to play around with.

Ringworm is from bacteria and usually not properly cleaning yourself. There is special ringworm lotion to put on it.
