Ringworm...?

My fianc茅e climbed half dome in Yosemite a few weeks ago and developed a rash on his stomach about a week later. Then we notice that he had ring shaped red marks on his hip. I鈥檓 pretty sure it's all ringworm. He doesn't want to go to the doctor if he doesn't have to. Can we treat it at home?

Ringworm is not caused by a parasite, but by a fungus (candida). It is the same fungus that gives us athlete's feet among other nasty skin conditions.

It can also affect us internally. I am on an 8 + month long cleanse and still have symptoms.

Check out yeast at www.hufa.org. Yogurt is good internally and externally, but Lotrimin or other antifungal creams or powders are very good too for external use only.

YES he can all he needs to do is take regular showers and it'll be out in a week or sooner my teacher is a wrestling coach and he sees them on the students at times from the matts that they wrestle on he advises them to take showers when they get them ( they come from sweat from other things)

yes rub him down with some anti fungal. Like Lotriman and he will be fine.

Yes. Hydra cortisone cream works.

If you are sure it is ringworm, it can be treated by over the countre antifungal called "DAKTARIN" gel/cream.

It needs to be treated, it is very resistant and spreads. Having fungal infection means hygeine needs to be improved and sometimes there may be underlying systemic causes like diabetes which may reduce the resistance of the body to cause fungal infections.

Somebody mentioned hydrocortison cream, Never ever apply it. it is a steroid and it like fertilizer for the plants, it makes it worse.

Actually worms will be very harmful because they can migrate some visceral organs and will cause irreversible hazards. So your fianc茅e should see a doctor, this is better for him

LOOK go get some ointments for it and bath regularly. trust me ive had it.

Over the counter cream called Desinex.

yes u can treat it at home u can also use some calimine lotion its pink it will treat it also
