Ringworm wont go away? |
im on the 8th day of treating my ringworm, since the first day, today it doesnt itch at all, the raised edges are now flat, it doesnt hurt, it got lighter in color but its still pink, and its a little bit shiny. well im pretty mad its not gone by now. the doctor said i should use the medication creme for 2 weeks, but i thought it would be practicaly gone by now. anyways im going to the beach tomorow, can i go tanning and swimming without a shirt on ? i really dont want to make it worse. and how do i know when the ringworm is almost/completely healed? is the ringworm still contagious at this current stage?btw the ringworm is on my shoulder trust me, i am a wrestler and i have gotten ringworm plenty of times, by your description it sounds like it is actually completely dead, but now the skin needs to heal, i still recommend using the cream until it is completely gone, but yes you can take off your shirt, and the sun can't do anything to it, nothing can make it worse, but it does sound like the fungus is dead, the skin just needs to heal It takes time to cure fully. |
