Could I have ringworm?

I have the same rash in the same place on both sides of my upper arms. It doesnt really look like ringworm, because it is more kinda like small scaly dots that are really itchy, and it doesnt have the true ringworm-ring shape. The reason i am thinking it could be ringworm is that i have two kittens with ringworm, so i was told to keep an eye out for any rashes. I put some ringworm cream on it just in case, but im not sure what the rash is. Should i go to the doctor? i asked my mom if i could but she didnt want to take me because she doesnt think its ringworm and she thinks it will go away. I have had it for almost 2 weeks. Could this be ringworm? should i go see a doctor or just wait it out?

oh my see a DR. if you get ring worm in your hair you can loose the entire patch of hair and never will it return !!!

It could be eczema. Go see a dermatologist.

Sounds like it could be psoriasis. I can't tell because I'm not looking at it, but go see a dermatologist or your GP. It's really hard to diagnose a rash without looking at it :-)

I am not sure about the ringworms. Maybe it is poison Ivy? Have you been in the woods lately? Because it could be poison ivy or poison oak. But that is just my best guess. Putting some benedryl on it will probably help. Good luck!

If it's the same place on both arms it's probably not ringworm! It might be something like keratosis pilaris, which usually occurs on the backs of the upper arms, on both sides, and doesn't go away.

It may be ringworm or something else which your Dermatologist will be able to tell after examining you.
So better see him.
