Ringworm!!!??

does anybody know of a home remedy to get rid of a ringwrom i have on my leg and itches the crap out of me

first things first don't scratch it! it will cause it to spread. You can make a paste out of corn startch and try that.

you can get lamisil from the drug store, it helps with itching and it will go away

Oh!! I know how you feel.. I just got my first one ever about a week ago and it itches terribly! I went to CVS and got an athletes foot medicine and on the book it says it treats ringworms.. just look for anything that says Antifungal. It was about $5.00 (this was the generic brand, $9.00-$10.00 for the non-generic) Hope this helps!!

I had one in high school and I tried all kinds of stuff, the antifungal and antibiotic stuff. I can't even remember what all I did but I had it for nearly a year and it was stubborn. For the longest time, I wasn't even sure what it was.

My grandpa was dying from cancer and didn't always make much sense anymore, but one day he told me to rub the milky juice from a fig leaf on it. I just said ok, but the next time I saw him he asked me to see it and it didn't look any better so he said I hadn't done it. I ended up getting myself a fig leaf and rubbing the stuff on just so I wouldn't feel bad, but it was gone in no time.

Try the fig leaf!

Miconazole, lamisil, or any of the other OTC athlete's foot creams or sprays will work. It will take a while. If it becomes widespread or doesn't heal, see your doctor for lamisil tablets. They are very very expensive but will do the trick when the creams won't.

IF IT DOESN'T GO AWAY SOON GO TO THE DOCTOR, I GOT IT IN HIGH SCHOOL AND IT GOT REAL BAD (I HAD IT ON MY FACE, NECK, CHEST, ARMS, STOMACH AND LEGS) (MY BABY COUSIN GOT FROM THE DOG AND I GOT IT FROM HIM). I HAD TO TAKE STEROID PILLS AND STEROID CREAM AND IT STILL TOOK 6 WEEKS TO GO AWAY.
