Ringworm!!!!!!?

i need it to stop now!
i've tried creams and been to the doctor it wont stop! please suggest something..its freaking me out! :(

Ringworm generally responds well to home care or personal treatment using common over-the-counter creams like Monistat, Tinactin, Lamisil, Micatin, etc. If you're using any of these, applying the cream (after thoroughly cleaning the lesion) at least twice a day or according to label directions, you can expect the ringworm to be gone in 2-4 weeks time.

Please note that self-care or home-care treatment is effective only for mild infections. For ringworm of the scalp, toenails, and for widespread infection (affecting different parts of the body), your doctor can prescribe oral anti-fungal medication to reach such chronic and hard-to-reach infections.

Ringworm is a skin infection caused by mold-like fungi called dermatophytes. It's highly contagious, so refrain from scratching the lesion or you end up spreading it to other parts of you body or to other persons. It can be transmitted through direct skin contact with an infected person, pet, object, or surface.

You might also try alternative methods of treatment. Tea tree oil, for example, is a natural agent for ringworm treatment. It's been known to be a fast-acting and highly-effective anti-fungal medication. For more information, please visit:

Call your doctor and tell them that the treatment they prescribed isn't working so they can give you another.

you must continue to use the creme for at least 4-6 weeks to completely get rid of it.
