Being sick???

Ok, so i've been coughing, badly lately...and this morning i did the usual, alarm goes off, turn it off, and wait for the next to come on....on the last alarm, i laid back down, and suddenly got really nauseas. So I got me some of the pep b. and it said if you have any symptoms for sickness, and then experience nausea you may have a serious but rare illness, reye syndrome, or something like that....i really don't think i'm that sick, but what info is out there about it?

well, i suppose i should feel dumb, because i did not know that coughing causes mucous build up (when it comes to diseases, i only study sexual diseases....) but it's probably just that, i didn't think it was anything severe, just a little curious! thank you!

Mucas drains down the back of your throat eventually entering the stomach. Its worse at night since we lay down! I get this way anytime it rains! (Severe Allergies) You should still go to the doctor to have all of this checked out and proper medication will be given to you. In the meantime try Tylenol severe congestion or allergy/cold to relieve the symptoms. Drink hot tea or coffee to help break up the mucas and avoid milk (its thick and will mix with the mucas) Peppermints candy/tea will help with the nausea. Eat a light breakfast to avoid upsetting your stomach even more before it has a chance to pass all the mucas. Take care!

If you've been coughing a lot lately, you need to see a doctor for that. It's possible the nausea is being caused by the excess mucous that whatever is making you cough is producing.

Do you have allergies or a cold? Coughing is our bodies way of releasing mucus. Mucus build up can cause nausea. If you are not running a fever of over 101 and these are your only symptoms - relax. Try taking an allergy med. or one which brakes up mucus. If it does not help see your doctor.

Best thing to do is to have a chat with your doctor about it.
