Could this be restless legs syndrome?

I am only 21 years old, but as far as I can remember when I was a little girl ive had this problem but never thought anything of it until I seen the Restless Legs Syndrome commercial, and never heard of this before. Im on no meds or anything like that. Anyways this is what happens:

This is not all the time, just twice a month maybe but when I am laying down, or trying to go to sleep I feel like I have to stretch, and no matter how long I do it or how far I stretch it doesnt get better and I cant sleep because of it. I get up and walk around and I lay back down but the stretching sensation still comes back. Its very uncomfortable and when this is happening I cant stop moving my legs.
Could this be symptoms of restless legs syndrome? or could it be somethig else? if so what?
Please help me because Im tired of this!

it sounds similar.. but when i had rls it was more of a tingling sensation.. and you feel like you HAVE to move your leg or it'll just get worse and bother you more. perhaps you should see a doctor? i used to have rls really bad for years and then it suddenly disappeared. i dont know how or why but it did.

I'd say that definitely sounds like Restless Leg Syndrome. I would have that checked by a doctor.

Sounds like that's exactly what it is. I've only gotten it during pregnancy, and it was horrible. Ask your doc about it. Good luck.

I have had the same problem for years also my doctor says it is RLS but i dont have insurance and can't afford the meds

Sounds like restless leg syndrome to me. You can ask your GP for prescription for that syndrome.

That's exactly what it is.
