What are the major respiratory diseases?

What are the major respiratory diseases?

COPD, ARDS, Tuberculosis, Bronchiactasis, Plueral effusion, Pneumonia, Asthma, and lot many.

Many of them including Tuberculosis, Pneumonia, Bronchial asthma, Bronchitis etc.

Lung Cancer, Tuberculosis, Bronchitis, Broncho-pneumonia.

I would say that one major disease is Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease.
which is emphysema, chronic bronchits, asthma.

and many times caused by smoking.

asthma and bronchitis are the most dreadful.although u can lead a normal life if u take necessary measures but still.i have got bronchitis and my mother has asthma so i know how it is,besides my father is a doctor.

I would think it would be Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
But than Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) is an evil thing too.
