Can anyone in the aged care/health industry give me an indepth view of the Residential classification scale?

I am an aged care student working in the aged care industry but because i don't work in a residential care facility and work directly with the community i don't know much in depth knowledge about the RCS (Residential care scale) if anyone can offer help to my questions i need to write assignments on it would be greatly appreciated! mummymadness@hotmail.com

Residential Care Scale Funding

Therapeutic touch is an accepted treatment in Q19-20 Other Services and Therapy Programs of the Residential Care Scale. Residential care subsidy requires an assessment of functional status and care needs and a specific care plan that indicates the procedure for, and regularity of Therapeutic Touch treatments. The Therapeutic Touch care plan must be developed by a registered nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, diversional therapist, or speech therapist and can be implemented by staff trained in Therapeutic Touch. Regular evaluation is required to ascertain ongoing benefits of treatment.

Therapeutic Touch is recognised by the Nursing Board of Australia as a nursing intervention within the scope of regular nursing practice.
