Question about -rays on children? |
My daughter broke her elbow and has had at least 7 sets of x-rays in the last 5 weeks. A few times the lead apron slipped off of her pelvic area. How likely is it that she will develop any health problems or reproductive problems from the radiation? Also, she had 3 sets of x-rays done in one weeks time. Could she develop cancer from so many x-rays? reallly no need to worry. she will be fine. How likely? About 1 in a billion. It really isn't as much radiation as people think. Don't worry. Ive never had no lead thingy!! but yeh as the 1st poster said 1 in a million.. be mentally strong and sure that nothing bad happens to you. Whatever is going to happen is for your good only. |
