I wanted to ask what is PELVIOLITHIASIS.can somebody send me some info about this renal disease for our study?

i wanted to know about the background, incidence, definition and etiology of the disease.. PLEASE...

it'll realy be of help!! thanks

As far as I can figure, it's nothing more than kidney stones occurring in the renal pelvis. I've actually never heard that term used before, as "nephrolithiasis" pretty much covers any stones within the kidneys.

Unless you were specifically told that "pelviolithiasis" was somehow different from the more general "nephrolithiasis", with differing causes and incidence rates, you'd probably be safe reporting on regular kidney stones, with some mention of staghorn calculi thrown in.
