Is there any cure for a aptient who is 36 yrs, who is suffering from twin renal failure, who is on dialysis? |
for the last one year and who is unable to sustain the dialysis and transplant costs any longer? I'm pretty sure the only options are dialysis or transplant. Transplant those puppies! Kidney transplantation is the best choice, Body can go on to work with one kidney.36 yrs old is suitable for transplantation. Some countries have a governmental support for kidney transplantation . Kidney transplantation gives a new life to receivers and no more dialysis needed .They just take immuno-suppressants drug. The cause of the renal failure is important...as also whether it is acute renal shut down or if it is chronic renal failure. In the case of the former, if the cause is reversible, the patient can recover and not need long-term dialysis...In the case of the latter, and some cases of the former, long term dialysis or renal transplantation are the only real, long-term solutions. Government programs and insurance do support costs in many places, dependin on the country.....Medical treatment with drugs only and without dialysis is risky with the patient succumbing sooner or later from various complications like pulmonary edema, uremic encephalopathy, cardiovascular problems, metabolic acidosis, and electrolyte imbalances..... |
