What is a good renal diet, for a case where kidneys have failed (due to diabetis)?

Well, for diabetes, of course the patient cannot eat much carbs and sweets. It makes her diabetes worse. At her local family doctors office there should be diet pamphlet every doctors offices should have to give out free.

Your Dialysis Nurse should have gone over all this with the patient, it is a very tricky diet to fallow. My mother was on Dialysis for two years before her death, you really have to fallow everything your doctor says, and that starts with your diet. Get a hold of a dietitian right away...
