My husband has renal cell carcinoma that has after many surgeries spread to his bones. NEED HELP!?

He has had his kidney removed, part of his lung and his adrenal glands. He just had surgery to repair a broken hip where the cancer has spread. He takes steroids every day because of no adrenal glands.

I am sorry to hear this maybe the site below can help.

I am so sorry to hear of the further spread of your husband's cancer.

You don't explain what type of help you are needing, if it is just an ear to vent to, please feel free to e-mail me at dogwood.acres@yahoo.com

Maybe you should try seeing oncologists at different or new hospitals. Sometimes someone else might have new or fresh ideas on what will help your husband. I'm so sorry that he is suffering from this and hope that he gets better soon.

That's a lot to go thru and I'm sorry. You can always try some alternative treatments to go along with the conventional ones. Here's an ebook I found online. Maybe it will help.

Is he on chemotherapy? he definitely needs a drug for his bones, Zometa, if he is not already getting it. The good news is there are two brand new drugs for kidney cancer which were just approved by the FDA this year, and another one, Avastin, may be in the near future. Has he tried Sorafenib or Sutent? Just a thought.

I'm sorry,. Have your been to a top notch cancer center? Maybe they would have more experience in treating difficult cases and offer some hope to you.
