Eye questions:?

1. does anyone have proof that glasses can correct refractive errors? (not just while wearing them: as in long term correction)

2. what is the worst side effect of LASIK?

3. just wanna let everyone know eye exercises do work.
it lowered my astigmatism and almost completely halted the progression of my myopia

4.please check out reversingnearsightedness.com and put in your personal input. do you think this really works?

I believe their is evidence that if you are long sighted then in some cases if you give the person glasses that are not "powerfull" enough they can stimulate accommodation helping correct the condition

I imagine the worst side effect of LASIK is blindness, however this would be extremely rare

I don't really rate the website, sounds too like orthokeratometry, only works for a small range of perscriptions and doesn't really explain how the lenses reverse myopia well. Nobody really knows what causes myopia so I think it's an awfully bold claim to say that this technique "cures" it

Ask your eye doctor. He/she can give you the best, most educated answer.
