How many of you people, know about CRPS/RSD?

CRPS-- Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome
RSD-- Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy
With either of these two illnesses, the person is in constant pain. It can be acquired froma as little as a splinter in your finger to physical trauma to the way I acquired it. Electrical shock trauma at work. If anyone has this illness please contact me and we can share our stories and try to push for more public awareness.

Yes I have CRPS/RSD, they are both the same disease Complex Regional Pain Syndrome is just the new name that it has been given. I have had it for a little over a year and a half, and got it from knee surgery; unfortunately my body just reacted badly to the surgery, the surgeon didn't do anything wrong. I have a Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) which helps with some of my pain, but I still do deal with pain, which is hard being only 14 (almost 15) and wanting to be "normal".

There are several groups online for those who have RSD/CRPS. Feel free to contact me if you're interested in knowing more about the very active online group that I share ownership with someone else. - Barbara torreyb@prodigy.net
