I found out today that I have pnemonia...so I'm pretty sick. But in taking the x-ray to look at my lungs...my doctor discovered a few things. First apparently my colon doesn't look right...inflammed or something. But she said that my back looks like I have arthritis. She said that it doesn't look like a seventeen year olds bones should look. It will take a week to find out if I do indeed need to look into this...because she sent it to a radiologist to see if they agree. But I was wondering what to expect. Can this be treated...does it even make sense for a seventeen year old to have arthritis? I also have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, a chronic pain syndrom which I've had since I was nine. I'm just not ready for more health problems but since I have to wait a week and worry, I thought I mines as well do research while I'm at it. My RSD is in my legs. I've had back pain for quite awhile now...but I always figured it was because I have an over arched back and I walk kind of funny due to the pain of my RSD. It is possible to have arthritis at your young age, though it isn't the most common thing- I had arthritis discovered in my knee at age 13. RSD can affect your bone density, which could be causing some of the bone differences in your back. Where did/do you have your RSD? They can usually treat the pain for arthritis though it will be a chronic condition. Good luck! I know that pnemonia can be painful. I am not sure about all of theses other things, but have you looked into remathoid arthritis? Good luck to you |
