Pilonidal sinus disease and pregnancy?

I have had pilonidal excision surgery seven times now, and am in desperate need of an eighth go around. I have an open sore that drains and bleeds, and I am five months pregnant. No hot baths, no pain meds, no surgeries. Anyone know what to do? My OB-GYN said wait till the baby's born to deal with it, as did my Colon and Rectal Surgeon (who also recommended a C-section), but I am in pain now. What really sucks is that I can't sleep on my back or my stomach now! Hurray for me. Although, I never thought I be glad to have my pilonidal sinus bleed - at first I thought something was wrong with the baby. It was a relief to realize that my wound was open again! :) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

why so much surgery? i think it is not working........ I had this condition 10 years ago and had mine drained 3 or 4 times over 2 years - non surgical - and no recurrance. A warm compress should ease the pain and help draw out the infection.
