Which gene is causing rectal cancer?

B52 or ....

Well, I dont know for sure which gene is related, but you are aware the genetic correlation is just that at this point of medical knowledge, right?

While there are definatly links with certain genes and mutations, it is not exact at this point.

THe most common is the breast cancer gene. It actually shows up in something like less than 5% of all breast cancer patients.

So, even if you do know which gene has been linked to rectal cancer, at this point it is still meaningless for anyone other than a doctor to look at this. You can have the gene and never get cancer. You can also get the cancer without having the genes.
